Recentering less may improve usability

When selecting a dot the volume is recentered and new parts loaded.

If the new selected dot is near the previous one it may be convenient to stick to current volume until the selection goes out of ±25% of center position.

This may improve usability and reduce transfer load on the backend

Thanks for the feedback, devo! Yeah, I can see how that may help. If it is giving you performance issues there’s an option in the menu (Trace/Auto-Center View) to disable auto re-center. Re-centering can be done manually at any time by tapping spacebar.
